“I only, only have good things to say about working with Shterna. We were looking to raise a few million and knew we needed killer writing. What she delivered was phenomenal – a strong theme, great writing. She’s top-notch.”
– Avi Jurkanski
What is a copy sprint?
We book a slot of time (usually 1-2 weeks) to work on your specific project and turn it around quickly. This package is also a lower price-point than typical projects. While most projects start at $5,000, sprints start at $2,800. The specific price will depend on the size of the project you want to tackle during the sprint.
How is a copy sprint different from a cornerstone project?
Good question. The main differences are the complexity and scope. Copy sprints are for projects that don’t need the same level of strategy, research, and execution as a cornerstone project.
Here are examples of complex vs. straightforward, but keep in mind that it’s case specific and heavily depends on the specific scenario and scope.
Complex: a website, annual report, etc.
Straightforward: seasonal appeal, event materials
When you already have the vision, idea, and information necessary – you’re looking for high-level execution, but the blueprint of your project is already there – a copy sprint might be the perfect fit.

“Shterna’s nonprofit knowledge was clear from the first phone call. She understood the project right away, knew what needed to happen, and then created amazing copy.
I had high expectations and all those expectations were not only met, but exceeded. Working with her is an all-inclusive experience. She’s a professional who knows what she’s doing, won’t need a lot of guidance, and will produce at a high level. I feel very lucky to have found Shterna – the work she did was better than anything I could have hoped for.”

FAQs
What is included in every project?
Good question. It’s not just the copy. For any email-related projects, we’ll take care of segmentation, triggers, opt-outs, basic design, and A/B testing.
For any print or non-digital campaigns, we don’t do design in-house. Instead, we collaborate with the designer of your choice.
What are the disadvantages of a copy sprint?
Because this is for straightforward projects, we skip the typical discovery process. We don’t do extensive research into your nonprofit, demographics, or landscape. Instead, we rely heavily on the insight you personally provide during our discovery call.

“Shterna’s good at what she does. We were very, very happy with the work she did for us.
She listened well and actually captured what we wanted to convey. It impressed us that she was always extremely professional, efficient, and kept the timelines she gave. Especially after working with her, we’re confident in what she can do and would use her again in a heartbeat. She delivers on everything she promises.”
